・ NETWORK CONSTRUCTION STAGE1: Pre-installation consultancy At this stage the Senior consultant handling the network will spend some time investigating the clients requirements for hardware and software, estimate the cabling costs and any special features/facilities that the client may wish to have in the network. Any potential problems will be highlighted at this stage. Once the pre- installation consultancy is complete, an accurate costing for the project, hardware, software, installation and other services will be made and an installation time scale agreed between NetGration and the client. STAGE2: Installation and setup The installation phase consists of setting up and configuring the servers, web servers, proxy servers, etc. and workstations, including installation of network, and desktop operating systems, installation and configuration of any networked applications and testing the server and workstations. Most of this work will be performed off-site at NetGration's offices to minimize disruption at the client site. While this is happening, the cabling and other service contractors complete their work so that server, workstations, hubs, routers, printer, etc. will be installed and the entire configuration completed and tested, training is provided for the network supervisor and users. The network is up and running at this point. STAGE3: Post-installation services A view of the working practices concerning the network will take place with the client at this stage and any outstanding technical issue will be resolved. In addition NetGration is able to offer a number of 'value-added' services related to training, network security, virus protection, systems audit, network documentation etc. | |||||
